Online quotations are generated from the information you provide and are fixed for 30 days from the date of issue. All prices include VAT (currently zero-rated for the supply and installation of solar panels on private dwellings) and standard installation. Your final price is confirmed at the free site assessment; if the survey identifies additional requirements (for example consumer unit upgrades, non-standard roof access or structural works), any change will be itemised and agreed in writing before you commit.
Grant amounts shown in quotations are estimates of the SEAI Solar PV grant based on the information you provide. Grant eligibility and final approval rest with the SEAI. We submit and manage the application on your behalf and the approved grant amount is deducted from your final balance. If a grant application is unsuccessful for reasons outside our control, you may cancel without penalty before installation.
A booking deposit of €500 is payable to reserve your installation date and equipment. The remaining balance is due on the day of commissioning, once your system is installed, tested and demonstrated. We accept bank transfer and all major debit and credit cards. Title in all goods remains with ClearRay Ireland Ltd until payment is received in full.
The site assessment is free and carries no obligation. For installation, you agree to provide reasonable access to the property, attic space, fuse board and meter on the agreed date. If access is not possible on the day through no fault of ours, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Installations are carried out by SEAI Registered and Safe Electric certified personnel in accordance with current wiring rules and the manufacturer's instructions. We will notify ESB Networks of your microgeneration connection (form NC6) on your behalf. Minor making-good (sealing of cable penetrations, lifting and refitting of tiles or slates) is included; redecoration is not.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you accept a quotation, during which you may cancel for a full refund of any deposit. If you ask us to begin works within the cooling-off period and then cancel, you may be charged for works already carried out. After equipment has been installed, statutory consumer rights continue to apply.
Your system is covered by the manufacturers' warranties — typically 25 years (panel performance), 10 years (battery) and 5–10 years (inverter) — together with our own 2-year workmanship warranty covering installation defects. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, or events outside our control such as storm or impact damage (which is normally covered by home insurance).
Generation figures, bill savings, payback periods and export earnings shown in quotations are good-faith estimates based on industry-standard models, your stated usage and typical Irish irradiance. Actual results vary with weather, tariffs and how you use energy, and are not guaranteed.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an installation is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
If something isn't right, contact us on 01 123 4567 or [email protected] and we will respond within 5 working days. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
